So to avoid inconveniences, it is best to organise parties away from the residence.
Quiet hours
Respect for other people’s rest is of the utmost importance in student residences. So students are asked to listen to music at a low volume or to use headphones so as not to disturb their study or rest.
Slamming doors or running is not allowed, and after 23:00h in many residences the use of the kitchen is not allowed so as not to create a nuisance.
Cleanliness
The last of the most common rules of a student residence is that all students and residents must keep their rooms tidy, especially on the day stipulated for cleaning. As this facilitates the work of the staff. This is due to the fact that many residences include the washing of sheets and towels on a weekly basis.
In the course of the week all rooms have a cleaning day, and students are expected to help in keeping the common areas clean. So they are responsible for sweeping or mopping the floor, taking the rubbish out of the dormitories and the kitchen, keeping the kitchen and utensils clean, especially after use.
Healthy coexistence is about everyone living in the same space working together, which is why following the rules is ideal. A student who does not follow the rules established by the residence where he/she is staying will unfortunately have to leave and look for a new place to stay.
