Who can live in the residence?

The Hospital del Rey University Residence is intended for students pursuing university studies, students in the last two years of Bach or a higher degree in Vocational Training, as well as the rest of the educational community.

Once the place is granted, the applicant will make a transfer of €100 as a reservation. The payment of the 100 euros reservation guarantees the reservation of a place in the residence for the 2022-2023 academic year until July 25, 2022, the deadline for signing the rental contract and for paying the deposit. (worth an amount of 500 euros).

The laundry service. The University Residence has laundry facilities. These can be used to wash personal clothes.

How is payment made?

The collection of fees will be made monthly in advance during the first five days of the month by transfer by the residence to the account number indicated by the residents.
There will be no discounts or refunds of fees already paid for voluntary or forced absences, academic internships or abandonment of the University Residence.

What happens if I am not accepted to the university?

The payment of the 100 euros reservation guarantees the reservation of a place in the residence for the 2022-2023 academic year until July 25, 2022, the deadline for signing the rental contract and for paying the deposit. (worth an amount of 500 euros). This reservation will only be returned in the event that the applicant has not been able to access the University of Burgos or the Center where they will study, for academic reasons such as lack of grade to complete the requested studies or not having passed the access tests. .

The Hospital del Rey University Residence will be closed during the Christmas and Easter holiday periods. The stay in the Residence, for the purposes of the economic regime, covers nine and a half months, from September 5 to June 20, for students of the University of Burgos. Stays after June 20 are not included in the contract, and must be requested from the Management.

Is there a check-in and check-out time?

-Residents have free time, being able to enter and leave freely. Once they are in the residence, they must go to their rooms, being careful not to disturb those colleagues who are in their rooms. The Management may draw attention to anyone who exceeds their schedule or arrives in inadequate conditions and, if appropriate, adopt other types of measures personally.
