When it comes to strengths, you should analyse all of them and find practical arguments to illustrate them. You can mention three qualities that make you a suitable person for the position you are applying for. A simple example of a strength is knowledge of a particular technique or software. But the most important are soft skills such as the ability to manage people.

Now, with regard to weaknesses, the best way to answer this question is to choose a weakness that you are trying to improve. Such as improving a digital skill that you have not mastered through a particular course or training. When weaknesses are presented in this way they will be transformed into potential strengths.

Previous achievements

This question in a job interview is intended to test the values, expectations and motivation that you have. As it seeks to know what goals you have achieved during your professional life, and in turn to know what are the objectives that you have in the short, medium and long term. This question even includes the real interest you have in obtaining the job.

It is not necessary to exaggerate your achievements, just be clear and sincere. But if you do not have any achievements, you should mention those that are close to being achieved as if they were already a fact.

Problem solving

A person’s ability to solve problems is a fundamental characteristic nowadays in any company or organisation. As proactive people who are able to face any kind of inconvenience without problems. Looking for and generating solutions in an effective way, are sought after.

You should never say that you are not proactive or that you are not good at dealing with problems. Because they will say no, you should look for ways to demonstrate your leadership ability above anything else.

Questions for the company

At the end of all interviews, the interviewer asks if you have any doubts about the company, you should not say no. Even if you have not touched on the points where you have questions, you should find a way to generate a question or ask for more details about something. Otherwise you will seem disinterested.

In order to ask good questions, it is best to do some research about the company beforehand. This way you will know a lot about the company and you will be able to ask the right questions that show your interest in being part of it.
