The Colegio Mayor Ntra. Señora de Guadalupe was inaugurated on January 17, 1947 as the Foundation of the then Institute of Hispanic Culture and academically linked to the Complutense University of Madrid. Its original name was “Colegio Mayor Hispanoamericano Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe”.
Built and designed, down to its lamps and furniture, by the prestigious architect Luis Feduchi, we still preserve some of these valuable decorative elements in our school.
Throughout its more than half a century of existence, CM Guadalupe has been a meeting and coexistence place for professors, intellectuals and artists, as well as a residence for important cultural and political personalities, but above all for people who have achieved professional success in their respective disciplines.
